The Weather was Hot, and the fire burned brightly for all Part 2 attendees. This was the first time we had 2 Wonderdays in one year, and the excited couldn’t have been higher. We went from gloves, toques, and snow pants… to shorts, sandals, and glorious bikinis. We got wet, got a little smelly, and caused our usual mayhem. The anthem for this Wonderday was Black Eyed Peas “Pump It”… and boy did we! This was a Wonderday to remember.

The WONDERful day started when Sam actually arrived on time! However, Brandon and I were late and so was everyone else, even Paul. When we got to Brett’s we noticed that my car was making a lot of noise so we drove Brett’s car instead. The energy in the car was amazing with Brett screaming out the window at little kids, saying “IT’S WONDERDAY!!” When we got to the park Brett’s car wouldn’t stay in park!! It wasn’t a good day for our cars… but that didn’t stop us!!

The WD Part 2 attendees had so much fun in the sun that day and will never forget some of the craziest memories. Craig’s “Easy to turn me on” shirt and bag o’ money, Stein being the “single rider,”

the first “Exit Only” pic, getting stuck on the Italian Job in the boiling sun and then getting to ride it again! WOO HOO, Brett climbing the Tomb Raider rope and feeding the geese, Claudia and Izzy’s colourful tongues, Brandon getting told off by the little girls in the line for The Bat, Claudia getting wood for the first time, getting the perfect spot on the Timber Wolf Falls’ bridge, Sam almost giving up on basketball but then won the BIG BALL (where is that ball?), Marv being the new entrant in the b-ball challenge, Paul beating everyone and winning Stewie! (way to go Paul), Krista’s big lolli, and the countless water bottle fights and Tag body spray fights. Fun times!!

After a great day we headed back to Brandon’s for some eats and drinks. On the way home we some how met up with Sam on the highway (even though he left before us) and threw stuff at his car. Some highlights of the night were lots of Frisbee (Claudia and Kristin were the champs), Wonderday cake thanks to Paul and Jess, Brett coming late and Stein BBQing, neighbours complaining, Kristin’s cookies, Brett’s steak, Red bull and vodka, me forgetting my partner in Brisk was actually Ruhland… not Cumberbatch, Debbie’s missing shoe, and lots of drinking!! But where was Krista??

It was a great event, which will never be forgotten! Thanks to everyone who came out!
