Wonderday 2006 Part 2

Well…Even after all my hard work to make everybody this Wonderful website, here I am being made to write all about Wonderday 2006 Part II. I’m not much of a writer, so please bare with me on this one. Actually, I am proud to be the one to tell you all about Wonderday 2006 Part II!

You would think that it would be a safe bet to go to Wonderland in June…but ohh no…of course the wonder weather was not so wonderful…some of us even thought that it was warmer during Wonderday Part I! It probably was the fact that the wind was high that day, and was some what cloudy, but none-the-less, we made our way up the 400 to have some fun.

It ended up only being a 6 man Wonder team that made it to Part II. Sam, Grace, Brandon, Marisa(with 1 s), Kristin, Brett, Chantelle and myself. This time there was no line cutting, not red sea of t-shirts or no hollering..but rather a small group of us representing wonderday. We made our way through the park, going on almost every small ride possible…and only 1 different ride from when I went to Wonderday 2006 Part I (if you can believe). This made for quite the dicussion between Brandon and Sam, as every time we almost went on the Vortex, we ended up going on a pirate ship or The Fly (who knew that it could actually be fun!).

We watched the new ‘hollywood stunt spectacular’, which was anything but spectacular. I think I was weary going into it since the fact that it was built over the parking lot, and it isnt even a very big looking set at all. I wont ruin anything for anybody who wants to go see this show, but dont get your hopes up. I only hope that the part where the guy is supposed to fly through the wall during the big action sequence, he actually does fly through the wall, and not run into it a couple times and then come back down via a pole. Anyways, just go and see if for yourself and you be the judge, ill be on the Italian Job ride.

Now is the part that you all begin to wish you came out to Wonderday Part II. You may not have liked the wind, the cold weather or the lineups…but how can you resist The Monster Cookie Blizzard. That’s right, I said it. We went to DQ and enjoyed some of the greatest tasting ice cream alive. I wonder if it will be a part of Wonderday 2007? If not, Marisa and I took a bunch of photos to set the standard for the photo scavenger hunt next year. The only question remaining is…Are You Ready?

Check out the Wonder pics below! Hope to see you at Wonderday 2007!
