Welcome to Wonderday 2009!!!!!

Wonderday 2009 really starts the minute you go to sleep, and dream about the mayhem that awaits you the next day. So make sure you get lots of rest, and be prepared for a day like none other.

WonderWear & Tickets

Everyone will get their WD09 t-shirt and Wonderland admission ticket before boarding the bus in the morning. Also, please keep the red & white theme in mind… so the more red & white clothing you wear the better (i.e. sweaters, hats, etc.)!

Morning Bus Pick-up:

A reminder that WonderBus transportation is included for ALL WD09 attendees

The bus pick-up location is:

Fox and Fiddle
106 John Street (out-front on the corner of John and Adelaide).

The buses will be departing at 9:00a.m SHARP!

So please arrive between 8:30 – 8:45a.m so you can get all your WonderGoodies. If for some reason you are driving to the park, please contact us immediately to arrange alternative methods for ticket pick-up.

Thereâ€™s tons of pay-parking around this location, but we highly encourage everyone to either use public transportation and/or crash at someoneâ€™s houseâ€¦ as getting wrecked at WonderNight is half the funâ€¦ ok, almost all the fun :)

Picture Scavenger Hunt

All attendees will also get the Picture Scavenger Hunt list on the morning of. For those of you that have not attended Wonderday before and have no idea what the PSH is, I will give you a little breakdown >>> Your PSH team (formed by you the morning of) will get a list of photos and videos to take during the day while at Wonderland. Many items are subject to your interpretation and you’ll need to use your imagination to get the most creative photos and videos you can. Each item is worth a different amount of points, and will be listed as such. Then during WonderNight (at the Fox and Fiddle), bring your camera and/or memory card to a pre-determined location (we’ll let you know where) to upload your mayhem. Then the winner will be announced on www.wonderday.ca after the event. Prizes will follow of course :)

Afternoon Bus Pick-up:

We will be picked up from Wonderland at 5:00p.m SHARP!

The exact pick-up location will be determined by the bus driver upon drop-off at the park. If you get lost, please give a WD Council Member a call (numbers below), or follow the red-shirts. And please be on-time, as the sooner we get everyone on the buses, the faster we can head to the bar and start drinking!!! =)

Nowâ€¦ the real fun begins.

WonderNight has some incredible things planned yet again, at its old stomping grounds in the Fox & Fiddle, Downtown Toronto.

Weâ€™re welcoming back the infamous Richard Hong to dabble in some WonderKaraoke, plus we welcome the Junior Vice Presidents to help us end the night in style (playing live at 9:30pm)!

Plus we got all kinds of fun surprises revealed throughout the day and nightâ€¦ so bring youâ€™re A-game betches (yes, looking at you)â€¦. Because this is gonna be one wild night!

Hintâ€¦ donâ€™t fill up on all the complimentary Finger Foodsâ€¦youâ€™ll need all the stomach space you can spare :)

Weather

As always, the weather forecast for Wonderday is changing dailyâ€¦ so please make sure to monitor the weather reports to ensure you are dressed appropriately. As these tickets are non-refundable.

And as an FYI, the buses have been prepped for a possible early departure in case Mother Nature absolutely hates us. So that will just mean more drinking. But either wayâ€¦ gt’s will be had. Plus, if you show up and there is bad weather for more than 2 hours, Wonderland gives us complimentary tickets for another day (but you MUST be present to be valid for this offer).

BUT DON’T WORRYâ€¦ we have faith in the WonderWeather gods.
